1st Place Winner - Frisco Barbeque Challenge

The first official state BBQ challenge was held in Frisco, Colorado in 1993 in the Historic Park and now attracts over 30,000 attendees every year.

The Colorado BBQ Challenge is a Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS)-sanctioned competition. KCBS sanctions BBQ and Grilling competitions across the U.S. and promotes barbeque as America’s cuisine.
